Kirk trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts graduating with Distinction in his National Diploma in Musical Theatre (Trinity, London).

His theatre credits include: Bard in The Hobbit (UK Tour); Chinese Policeman in Aladdin (Kings Theatre, Southsea); Macduff in S4Ks Macbeth (UK Tour); DandinI in Cinderella (Churchill Theatre, Bromley); Featured Ensemble in Cinderella (Richmond Theatre); Featured Singer/Dancer/Actor in Facing the Future, One Giant Leap & Believe In Yourself (Epsom Playhouse); Benjamin Stone in Follies (Laine Theatre Arts).

Television credits include Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2008 (Nickelodeon Television/ExCel, London); featured dancer on Everybody Dance Now (ITV1/Talent Television).

Before starting his training in musical theatre, Kirk spent 4 years working all over Europe as a windsurfing and snowboarding instructor. He also plays guitar and sings in a band.
